During the cordial meeting, the two leaders discussed the possibility of providing scholarships to Cambodians based on the technical skills that Indonesia has potential for and the possibility of exchanging professional technical trainees between the two countries. For both leaders, this work will be an important mechanism to help strengthen the relationship between the people and the two countries.

In addition, the two sides also discussed and shared perspectives on behalf of the countries sending workers to work abroad.

In that regard, the Ambassador thanked the Ministry of Labour and the entire Royal Government for taking care of its citizens who are working and staying in Cambodia without discrimination.

The minister stressed to the Indonesian side that the Ministry of Labour, as a host country and as a friend in the ASEAN region, is committed to respecting the rights of ordinary citizens and foreigners, which Cambodia must do its best, especially in this seventh mandate, which the Ministry has given priority to, whether foreigners in Cambodia or Cambodians who go abroad to work.
